Desert


Here is the textered desert floor I'll be using. In the final version I hope to have a bit of brush in there, but for now this will do. The next challenge is to work on sky boxes, another task I've never done before.

Robot Model

Here's three shots of my basic model for my main character, the robot. No texturing yet, but he's color-coordinated at the moment and almost ready to be used for blocking out the scenes in a re-evaluated storyboard I will post soon. Still a bit worried about rigging his collapsible arm, but hopefully it will look alright when it is done.

The Robot is a culmination of a few exterior sources.

Proposal/Storyboard



Attached is my proposal for my machinima project, as yet untitled.
The Machinima will feature a robot, traversing the desert collecting all kinds of trash, who is secretly carrying a biodiversity-powered cannon. A monster spots the robot, and jumps out to attack it, only to be blown away by the robot at the end of the clip.

Here's the storyboard providing a first-draft of the shots and estimated lengths, as well as movement and drafting the blocking out/positioning of characters/objects.
